Swachch Survekshan Grameen 2018 to be held from Aug 1 to 30

Mangaluru, July 27, 2018: State Minister for Urban Development and Housing  U T Khader has informed that the Swachh Survekshan Grameen-2018 survey will be held in the district from August 1 to 30 under the Swachh Bharath  Mission.

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters at the Circuit House on July 27, Friday he said  the cleanliness levels in the villages will be evaluated by the government appointed survey agencies. Rankings will be given in accordance to the  survey report. The   top ranking villages in the district and state level will be awarded  prizes at a function to be held at New Delhi on October 2, the Minister said.

The Minister also urged people to maintain utmost cleanliness in their respective villages in order to ensure top spot in the survey.
