Mangaluru, March 24, 2021: Taking Covid-19 Vaccine at Unity Hospital, Falnir Road, Mangaluru is indeed a pleasing experience. The Vaccination centre is located beside the main hospital so as to avoid any fear of infection or contact with any person in the hospital.
You will be welcomed by a designated health officer who will take you to the registration counter. He will assist you to do the registration and make sure you get your vaccination in the most courteous way. The respect for the senior citizens here is commendable. The Centre is open between 10 AM and 4.00PM.
“It is indeed a most comfortable and pleasing experience” said a senior citizen who had visited the Unity Covid Vaccine Centre. The entire procedure took a few minutes and we were asked to wait for 30 minutes in the resting room after the vaccination as a procedural protocol. “Some of our friends had taken their shot in other places and their experiences were quite bothersome- situations were uncomfortable, unhealthy, crowded and not caring.
The government has authorised selected hospitals and health facilities to give Vaccine to people over 60 and for people with some medical history since over a month. Private Hospitals were allowed charge Rs. 250/- per shot while Govt. hospitals to provide it at free of cost.
