Thousands witness Car Festival as part of Kadri Temple fair

Mangalore, Jan 22, 2014: Thousands of devotees from far and near thronged the Sri Manjunatha Temple at Kadri, one of the oldest temples in Mangalore on January 21, Tuesday night  to witness the Sri Manmaharathotsava(Car Festival) as part of the annual festival of the Temple.

 

 

Various religious rituals were also held as part of the festivities. The annual festival of the temple  began on Makara Sankranthi Day.
