Tigress Varada gives birth to healthy male cub

Mangalore,Dec 15: Varada, a tigress that resides in Dr. Shivaram Karanth Biological Park in Pilikula, recently gave birth to a healthy male cub. This increases the tiger population of the biological park to 8. 

 

 

The tigers were brought to Dr. Shivaram Karanth Biological Park, which is involved in the conservation of endangered wildlife species, from parks in Mysore and Shimoga. Currently, the park has around 60 species of animals. 

The park officials say that the newborn will be given a name soon.
