Trader at Bunder arrested for selling fake mosquito repellent

Mangaluru, August 10, 2024: Bunder police have arrested a trader at Bibi Alabi Road in Bunder on the charges of selling fake mosquito repellent in the name of Goodnight Gold Class liquid.

The accused is Dalram (33). He hails from Gujarat but is a resident of Mangaluru and owns a shop named Jai Vihat Enterprises. The fake products were discovered when representatives of Goodnight brand visited the shop without revealing their identity.

Later, based on the complaint by a representative from the company the Bunder police arrested the accused.

It has been learnt that the seized fake products were prepared between August 1 and 5. However, it is not known where the accused prepared them.
