Trio arrested for bid to molest woman

Kasargod, Jan10,2013 : Eshwaramangala police have arrested three persons  at Sulliapadavu  in Kerala-Karnataka border on January 9, Wednesday, who were caught by public while they were trying to escape after making a vain bid to outrage the modesty of a woman.

According to reports, the trio  had  tried to molest the woman after seeking water to drink. However, when the woman raised a cry, locals who rushed  for help found the trio taking to their heels. They were trapped after one of them tripped and fell.

The arrested are Aboobakker, Shabeer and Kabeer from Kasargod.

Eshwaramangala Police have said the case will be transferred to Adoor police station.
