Tulunada Thudar Parba marks at town hall

The programme Tulunada Thudar Parba was celebrated on the occasion of Diwali at Town Hall on Sunday October 18. The event was jointly organized by Dakshina Kannada District Sahithya Parishat, Kannada and Cultural Department and Kulkura Prathishtana Mangalore.

The traditional celebration of Tulunada Thudar Parba took place with worshipping of Cow or ‘Go Maathe’.
 

Krishna J Palemar, Dakshina Kannada district incharge minister inaugurated the ceremony by worshiping the Go (cow). Nalin Kumar Kateel, member of parliament, MLA Yogish Bhat, Mayor Shankar Bhat, MLA U T Kadhar, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, President Kalkura Prathistana, Harikrishna Punaroor, Ivan D’Souza, advocate and Prof M V Puranik were present on the occasion.
