Two boys drown in Payaswini lake

Kasargod, April 12, 2023: Two children who had stepped into the water of Tapaswini lake at Adoor Devardka on April 11, Tuesday have drowned.

 

The deceased are Mohammad Ashik, son of Shafi of Devardka and Mohammad Fasil (3), son of Hassainar.  The two along with other children had been to the lake when the tragedy struck.

As soon as the boys drowned, others who were at the spot had raised a cry. They were immediately lifted from the water and rushed to the hospital, but their life could not be saved.
