Two-day Fruits, Jackfruit Festival commences at Pilikula

Mangaluru, June 11, 2022: A two-day Fruits and Jackfruit Festival-2022 commenced at Pilikula Urban Haat of the Pilikula Development Authority on June 11, Saturday. MLA Umanath Kotian inaugurated the Festival.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Santosh Kumar Rai Boliyar, Chairman of Mysore Electrical Industries,  Pilikula Development Authority Members Harish, Umesh Shetty and others were present.

Apart from variety of jackfruit and other fruits, the event also has food stalls selling variety of Jackfruit delicacies including Halasina Gatti, Halasina Kabab, Halasina Podi, Cake, Halasina Sheera, Garige, Pathrode, Vade etc.

A variety of mangaoes are also on display for sale. Growers from  Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kundapur, Davanagere, Belagavi, Hubballi, Ramanagar, Channapatna and Bengaluru are taking part in the Fest.
