Two home nurses arrested for cheating employer

Karkala, December 17, 2024: Karkala Police have arrested two men on the charges of illegally transferring money from the account of a person after getting to know his Google Pay pin. The two had joined work as home nurses at the residence of the victim and had fraudulently transferred nearly Rs 9 lakh after managing to find the Google Pay Pin of their employer.

The arrests were made at Dahisar in Mumbai. Those arrested are Karthik Shetty (28) of Kukkundur and Ratnaker (50) of Tellar.

Shashidhar had appointed Karthik as a home nurse through a firm run by Ratnaker. However, the two had colluded and managed to secure Shashidhar’s Google Pay pin.
