Uchila: Elderly pedestrian fatally knocked down by car

Kaup, January 10, 2025: An elderly pedestrian lost his life after a car knocked him down while he was crossing the road near Uchila auto stand on the NH 66 on January 10, Friday.

The deceased is Srinivas Thonittaya (72) from Kunjuru. The car was proceeding from Udupi to Mangaluru when the mishap took place. Srinivas died on the spot.

Padubidri police have registered a case.
