Udupi: Ambulance carrying body of slain Naxal Vikram Gowda, overturns

Udupi, November 20, 2024: The ambulance carrying the body of Naxal leader Vikram Gowda who was killed in an encounter with ANF on Monday overturned at Koodlu near Hebri when it was heading towards Vikram’s home for last rites.

The ambulance had started from the KMC Hospital at Manipal where the post-mortem was done and was speeding towards Koodlu when a cow came in the way of the ambulance and it overturned as the driver tried to avoid hitting the cow. No one was injured in the mishap.

Later, locals  helped in bringing the ambulance on to the road and the vehicle then it proceeded towards Koodlu.
