Udupi: Another exemplary humanitarian act by a private bus driver, conductor

Udupi, August 22, 2024: In yet another case of exemplary humanitarian act, the driver and conductor of a private bus exhibited great presence of mind and drove the bus straight to the hospital after a female student travelling in the bus fell ill all of a sudden. The incident took place on August 22, Thursday.

The AKMS bus was on way to Manipal from Mangaluru and the girl had boarded the bus at Mulki. But as the bus crossed Katapady and neared Udyavar the girl fell ill. The driver Naseef and conductor Mohith immediately diverted the bus to TMA Pai Hpspital in Udupi and ensured the girl got timely treatment.

The public have applauded the bus driver and conductor for their exemplary act.
