Udupi: Another illegal Bangladeshi migrant arrested

Udupi, October 19, 2024: Another illegal Bangladeshi migrant has been arrested in Udupi. The police who acted on a tip off arrested Jahangir Alam (24) at Santhekatte on Friday. He worked in Moodbidri.

With his arrest, the total number of arrests of illegal Bangla migrants in the district has risen to ten.  It may be recalled here that seven illegal Bangla migrants were arrested in Malpe a few days ago. Soon after two more migrants were arrested in Karkala.
