Udupi: Govt, aided school children to get egg, banana, chikki from today

Udupi, Aug 18, 2023: As part of PM Poshan-Akshara Dasoha programme aimed at eradicating nutritional deficiencies in children, all students of government and aided schools studying from 1st standard to 10th standard will be provided eggs.

 

Students who do not eat eggs will be given banana and groundnut chikki, informed DDPI Ganapathi. The programme of providing eggs, banana, chikki will commence from Friday in all government and aided schools in Udupi district.
