Udupi Head Constable honored with President’s Meritorious Service Medal

Udupi, Jan 26, 2025: Shivananda B, a head constable with the Udupi district police, has been awarded the prestigious President’s Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of his exemplary contributions to the police force. The announcement was made during the Republic Day celebrations.

Shivananda began his service in the police department in 2005 and has been associated with the crime division and election cell at the Udupi district police office since 2009. His exceptional dedication earned him the Chief Minister’s Medal in 2019.

Promoted to head constable seven years ago, Shivananda has also represented the Karnataka State Police at national police duty meets on two occasions, showcasing his commitment and professionalism.
