Udupi: House damaged; girl injured in lightning strike

Udupi, October 8, 2024: Several appliances in a house were damaged and a girl was injured due to lightning strike on the house at Perampalli on Monday night.

The house belonged to Kamala Poojarti. The injured girl, a ninth standard student has been admitted to a private hospital in Udupi.

The walls of the house have developed cracks and TV and other electronic items have been damaged.
