Udupi: MLA Raghupathi Bhat says he is receiving threatening calls

Udupi, Feb 12, 2022: Udupi MLA  Raghupathi Bhat who has claimed that he was receiving threatening calls from abroad, has even complained regarding this with the State Home Minister.

 

The MLA has said he has received threatening calls  through internet from abroad as well as Hyderabad stating "We will deal with you, we know how to tackle you."

The MLA has said that the SP has asked him to  have a gun man protection. He however stated he does not need a gun man  and that he has his own people who will stand guard to him. he also stated that he will not bow to such threats.

It may be recalled here that the Hijab row had first cropped up in the Udupi Government Girls’ Pre-University College where Bhat is the Chairman of the College Development Committee.
