Udupi: Missing cop found dead in well

Udupi, Oct 23, 2023: A 35 year old police constable from Karkala police station who was reported missing since October 19 was found dead in a well near Putteri Karkala.

 

The deceased is Shruthin Shetty from Kaup. He had reportedly called his wife on October 19 at 7.30 pm saying he was returning home and that he was in Nandikoor. His phone was later found switched off.

Shruthin was recently promoted as head constable and had availed leave on October 18 and 19.
