Udupi : Mother and Child Hospital staff to finally get their pending salaries

Udupi, Oct 07, 2022: The staff of Koosamma Shambhu Shetty memorial Mother and Child Hospital of Udupi have heaved a sigh of relief with the state government releasing Rs 368.70 lakhs towards disbursal of pending salaries and other pending payments.

 

Of the total  amount Rs 228.33 lakh would be utilised towards disbursal of salaries and Rs 140.37 lakhs towards pending payments.

The funds have been sanctioned following  request by Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat. It may be recalled here that the staff of the hospital had gone on strike on several occasions demanding disbursal of salaries.
