Udupi: New SP Hakay Akshay Machindra takes charge

Udupi, Aug 17, 2022: Hakay Akshay Machindra took charge as the new District Superintendent of Police of Udupi district on August 17, Wednesday.

Speaking after taking charge, the new SP said his top priority would be to maintain communal harmony and to check all unlawful activities.

 

Akshay who hails from Nashik in Maharashtra is a 2015 batch IPS officer. He is a Computer Engineering Graduate.

He was earlier posted in Dakshina Kannada district during his six month probation period. He has earlier served as ASP of Gulbarga and SP of Chikkamagaluru district.
