Udupi: Rider killed in bus-bike collision in Katapady

Udupi, June 11, 2023: In a tragic incident on the service road of NH 66 at Katapady, a bus collided with a bike, resulting in the immediate death of the rider. The deceased has been identified as Iqbal (32), a resident of Sarakari Gudde near Katapady, who was involved in the trading of jasmine flowers.

The bus, which was en route from Udupi to Mangaluru, collided with Iqbal’s bike at a high speed, causing the fatal accident. The Kaup police have arrived at the scene and are currently carrying out investigations to gather more information about the incident.
