Udupi: Serial theft in Udupi Government quarters

Udupi, September 30, 2024: Thieves have targeted as many as six houses in the government residential quarters near the Mission Compound in the city late night on Sunday and have decamped with cash and valuables.

Senior police officials have visited the spot. There were no CCTVs in the building. The occupants of the houses which were targeted were away when the theft took place.

As per initial reports thieves have stolen gold weighing 120 grams and Rs 20,000 cash from one house. More details are awaited.
