Udupi: Street fight case accused try to assault prison staff, officials

Udupi, June 25, 2024: The accused in the case of recent street fight at Udupi, have reportedly tried to assault the jail officials and staff at the District Prison at Hiriadka. The accused belonged to the Garuda gang.

It has been learnt that under trials Muhammad Ashiq and Mohammad tried to assault the jail superintendent and other staff. They have been accused of abusing the jailer and pushing the Jail Superintendent and other staff and trying to hit them with a chair.

A complaint has been lodged at Hiriadka police Station.
