Udupi: Woman falls from bus, public rushes her to hospital in the same vehicle

Udupi, January 28, 2025: A 55-year-old woman, Shantha, from Hanumantha Nagar, Udupi, sustained serious injuries after losing her balance and accidentally falling while getting off a bus near Puttur, Udupi. She suffered a severe fracture in her right arm and was unconscious at the time of rescue.

The public promptly transported her to the hospital in the same bus, where doctors provided necessary medical treatment. Social worker Vishu Shetty, who helped in the rescue, confirmed that Shantha is now out of danger.

Traffic police and the woman’s relatives have been notified about the incident.
