Udupi ZP bags National Panchayat Award

Udupi, Decemebr 12, 2024: Udupi Zilla Panchayat has earned the recognition as the third best Zilla Panchayat of the country and bagged the National Panchayat Award given by the Union Ministry of Rural Development.

The award is in recognition of the contributions of the ZP towards sustainable and inclusive development and achievements in the education field.

President Droupadi Murmu presented the award to Udupi ZP CEO Prateek Dayal at a ceremony held on Wednesday. Srinivas Rao, Project Director was also present. The Award comprised of a plaque and Rs 2 crore cash.
