Ujre: 6-year-old dies after minor surgery, parent allege negligence.

Ujre: July 16, 2015: A first grade student, who had fractured his hand while getting out of a vehicle, lost his life on Wednesday while taking him to Wenlock hospital on an ambulance from a private hospital.

The parents of the boy claim it was sheer negligence on part of the doctors that cut short their son’s life.
The deceased Kavan(6) a first grader is the son of Rajesh from Belthangady.

According to the sources, Kavan had fractured his hand while getting out of a vehicle on July 14. The parents then hospitalized Kavan to a private hospital in Mangaluru were the doctors said that Kavan will have to undergo a surgery.


Soon after the surgery, the doctor asked the parents to take him to Wenlock hospital as he had problem with the heart.


The boy before reaching Wenlock hospital breathed his last on Wednesday night.
While neither the doctors nor the hospital authorities have clear idea of what caused the death.


Kavan’s father Rajesh registered a complaint against private hospital. The police have now taken up the investigation.
