Ulaibettu dacoity case: 6 accused sent to 7 days police custody

Mangaluru, July 6, 2024: The Court has sent six accused in the Ulaibettu dacoity case to seven days of police custody. It may be recalled here that dacoits barged into the house of PWD contractor Padmanabha Kotian recently and had robbed cash and gold at knife point.

Police have so far arrested ten accused. Of them, Trissur residents Shijo Devasi, Satish Babu, Shakir Hussain, Sajish M, Vinod P K, Tiruvananthapuram resident John Bosco have been sent to police custody for further interrogation.

Others arrested include Uppala resident Balakrishna Shetty, Bantwal resident Raymond D’Souza, Neermarga Panchayat Member Vasanth Kumar and Neermarga resident Ramesh.
