Ullal: Couple arrested for drugs peddling

Mangaluru, October 31, 2024: A team led by ACP Dhanya and Ullal Tahsildar raided a place at Rahmath Nagar in Kinya village of Ullal and arrested a couple on the charges of drugs peddling. The raid followed a tip off.

Those arrested are Nazeer and Asma. They have been accused of selling ganja by transporting the contraband in their car.

Police seized 6.8 kg ganja and a car from the duo. The value of the seized goods is estimated at Rs 10 lakh. The couple were outsiders who were staying on rent in Ullal.

Further investigations are in progress.
