Ullal: Many houses inundated, water logging on roads

Mangaluru, July 05, 2022: Several houses in Ullal are facing the brunt of flooding due to heavy rains since some days.

Houses in Talapady Devipura, Kotepura Vaidyanathanagara  have suffered losses due to gushing in of rain water. Water logging has also been reported in several roads in Devipura.

 

Near Madoor a huge tree fell on the road hitting traffic on the Beeri-Derlakatte route.

Traffic as well as electricity supply has been disrupted in many places due to uprooting of trees and snapping of power cables.

Flooding has affected many houses in Someshwar Ombattukere area.

In Ullal’s Halekote area, the house of Abdul Rehman was damaged after a coconut tree fell over it. The family has been evacuated to a safer place.

Over 20 houses near Kallaup in Permannur are inundated.
