Ullal: School girl dies in collision between auto and pick-up vehicle

Mangaluru, October 24, 2024: A tragic road mishap at Kallapade in Belma village on Thursday claimed the life of an 11 year old school girl. The accident took place between an autorickshaw ferrying school children and a pick-up vehicle.

The deceased is Ayisha Wahiba, daughter of Mohammad B Monu and Munhiya couple from Badakabailu. The autorickshaw was on way to drop students to the Netaji school at Derlakatte when the recklessly driven pick-up vehicle rammed into the autorickshaw.

Ayisha who sustained critical injuries died while being rushed to the hospital. Three to four students were injured in the mishap. Even the driver of the autorickshaw  was injured. The autorickshaw was badly mangled in the mishap.
