Under trial accused of murdering grandmother, dies of illness

Belthangady, June 08, 2023: A 35 year old under trial who was arrested in the case of killing his very own grandmother and looting her jewellery, has died due to illness on June 7, Wednesday.

 

The deceased is Ashoka Gowda of Kanarpamane in Kadirudyavar village. He was admitted to Wenlock as he was suffering from Tuberculosis and diabetes.

The accused was reportedly an alcoholic.
