Underworld elements behind Prashanth murder?

Mangalore, April 9, 2013:  There is suspicion that an underworld gang might be behind the murder of  Prashanth (35), manager of Adinatheshwara Roadlines who was killed by unidentified assailants near the Mangala Bar at Valencia on April 7, Sunday night.

The suspicion is that the gang had followed Prashanth from Polali.Police say there are no cases against the killed Prashanth in any police station.TR Jagannath, ACP, has said that the police have gathered some clues regarding the killers and that they may soon be arrested.

The assailants after killing Prashanth had also damaged his Fortuner car. Close on the heels of the murder, a Kannada channel had received a call from a certain Vicky Shetty that the killing was in  revenge to the murder of Bejai Raja.
