Unidentified man found dead at Nehru Maidan; murder suspected

Mangalore, Feb 3, 2013: The body of an unidentified person has been found at the Nehru Maidan’s cricket ground on February 3, Sunday. Police suspect this to be a case of murder.

The age of the deceased is said to be around 30 to 35. It is suspected that he was killed by hitting a boulder or a heavy metal on his  head.

 

The deceased is wheat complexioned with a  light grey colour T Shirt and brown coloured trousers. Though many rushed to the spot on gathering news, none could identify the dead man.

The Pandeshwar police have taken the body to the Wenlock Hospital for a post mortem.
