Unity Health Complex celebrates meaningful Republic Day; honours sincere staff, auto driver

Mangaluru, Jan 27, 2015: Unity Health Complex, Mangaluru celebrated the 66th Republic Day in a meaningful  way by  honouring three of its employees who have completed twenty years of service. An autorickshaw driver of the city was also felicitated for his sincerity and honesty.

The celebrations were presided over by Dr.Jayaram Shenoy,Senior  Consultant  and General & Laprascopic Surgeon. Dr. C.P. Habeeb Rahman, Chairman of Unity Health Complex and Dr.Ashfaque Mohammed Khaleel were the chief guests.

 

In his presidential address, Dr. C.P.Habeeb Rehman  said the  Unity Health Complex would  join hands with all others in contributing to the development of the nation. Honesty and sincerity are two qualities which make an individual great whichever field he or she works,   Dr Rehman further added.

Lalitha, a senior lab technologist, Kasturi, Female Nursing Orderly and Benedict  D’Souza, watchman who have served Unity Health Complex  since 20 years were felicitated.

Keshav, an autorickshaw driver who won the commendation of Unity Health Complex Chairman for his exemplary act of honesty and sincerity by returning the latter’s cell phone which was lost at the city railway station,  was also honoured.
