Upgraded police beat system "My Beat My Pride" launched

Mangaluru, Aug 16, 2019: An upgraded police beat system in the Mangaluru City Commissionerate limits- "My Beat My Pride" was launched at a function held at the Commissionerate office on August 16, Friday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

City Police Commissioner Dr P S Harsha along with Swami Chidambarananda of Ramakrishna Mission and other dignitaries lighted the traditional lamp to mark the occasion.

The My beat My Pride is a unique system involving all officers including the City Police Commissioner who will join the beat along with the beat constable at least once a month to get a first hand   information on the problems faced in the process.

The  system is intended to strengthen the beat system and also empower the constables.

The Namma Kudla Police WhatsApp Group was also launched,

Mangaluru South Sub-Division ACP Kodandarama, DCP Laxmi Ganesh, retired DCP T C M Sharief and others were present.
