Uppinangady; Cops file POCSO case against 38 year old man for raping minor student

Uppinangady, September 13, 2024: Uppinangady police have registered a POCSO case against a 38 year old man on the charges of luring a minor girl into a forest and raping her there.

The accused is Satish from Vittal. He had befriended the victim, a student of a college at Nelyady and had maintained contact with her over phone. On July 21 this year, he had asked the girl to come to Nelyady and had taken her to a forest in Bajattur village in a pick-up vehicle where he reportedly sexually abused her and even threatened her.

The girl later lodged a police complaint.
