Uppinangady: Shivaratri prank leaves bike rider seriously injured

Uppinangady, February 28, 2025: A Shivaratri prank by some miscreants has left a bike rider seriously injured at Hirebandady village.

It is learnt some miscreants had placed a huge cement pipe on the middle of the road on Wednesday night. A bike rider who was unaware of this had rammed his vehicle straight into the cement pipe resulting in serious injuries to him.

The injured bike rider is Rohitaksha, a newspaper distributor of Hirebandady village. The mishap occurred at around 5 am on Thursday when Rohitaksha was on way to Uppinangady from his house.

Uppinangady police have registered a case.
