Uppinnagady: Thieves target 2 houses

Uppinangady, April 24, 2025: Thieves who targeted two houses in Tekkar village of Belthangady taluk, have decamped with several valuables.

The theft occurred in the house of Mustafa when his wife and sister-in-law were asleep. Thieves have decamped with 12 grams of jewellery apart from Rs 3,000 cash.

In another case, thieves targeted the house of Anwar but left empty handed when the occupants of the house woke up on hearing some sound. The thief in his bid to escape, had dropped the cash which he had found in the cupboard.

Uppinangady police have visited the spot and investigations are underway.
