Udupi, August 28, 2024: A video of a man dressed as ’Yamaraja,’ the Hindu God of Death, organizing a long jump competition on a pothole-ridden road in Udupi, Karnataka, has gone viral on social media. The video, shot on the Adi Udupi-Malpe road that connects Udupi to the popular Malpe Beach, showcases the road filled with large potholes.
In the video, ’Yamaraja,’ dressed in traditional attire, is seen measuring the jumps of participants dressed as ghosts. Another man, dressed as ’Chitragupta,’ the Hindu deity who records the deeds of the dead, is seen assisting in the event.
