Vittal: Man dies of snake bite

Vittal, November 19, 2024: A 40 year old man died of snake bite at Mangalapadavu Mameshwara near Vittal.

The deceased is Suresh Naika of Peruvai. Suresh lived with his friend at Mameshwara and was reportedly an alcoholic. When neighbours who spotted a snake cried for help, Suresh  rushed to the spot and held the snake in his hand when the snake bit him. Ignoring it he returned home and slept after drinking alcohol and later died in his sleep.
