Vittal: Retaining wall of police quarters collapses over house

Vittal, August 27, 2024: The retaining wall and a portion of the hill behind the police quarters of Vittal collapsed over a house at Ponnottu in Vittal. The house has been damaged in the incident.

There is a fear of further land slip in the area. As the seized vehicles have been parked behind the quarters, even these vehicles are likely to fall over the house.

The damaged house belongs to Ayesha.
