Vittal: Robbery in guise of ED officials- One more accused arrested

Vittal, February 4, 2025: Police have arrested one more accused in the case of robbing lakhs of rupees from the house of businessman Sulaiman Haji at Bolantoor, by arriving at his house posing of ED officials.

The arrested man is Sachin of Kerala. He was arrested at the Kannur International Airport. A black colour Innova car and a Samsung mobile phone has been seized from the accused.

The arrested man was admitted to the Puttur government hospital as he suffered from health problem soon after his arrest. It is learnt, the accused is suffering from epilepsy and head ache.

The incident had taken place on January 3 at the residence of Sulaiman at Narshe in Bolantoor of Vittal Police Station limits. The police have already arrested one Anil Fernandes from Kottayam in Kerala.

Four more accused are still absconding.
