Wild elephant attack near Kadaba kills two persons

Kadaba, Feb 20, 2023: In a tragic incident reported from Meenadi in Kutrupady near Kadaba on February 20, two people lost their lives in an attack by a wild elephant.

 

 

The deceased are Ranjitha (21) and Ramesh Rai (55). Ranjitha is an employee of Peradka Milk Society and was  on way to work from home when a wild elephant attacked her all of a sudden at Karmena. A nearby resident Ramesh Rai who rushed to her help was also trampled by the wild elephant. If Ramesh died on the spot, Ranjitha died while being rushed to a hospital in Nelyady.
