Wild elephant wreaks havoc on plantations in Shirady

Uppinnagady, January 23, 2025: A wild elephant attack has damaged plantations in Shirady village on Wednesday night.

The wild elephant has destroyed arecanut and plantain plantations of at least seven people causing large-scale destruction.

Local farmers are severely distressed by the repeated wild elephant attacks. Forest officials have visited the spot.
