Woman crushed to death under lorry wheels in Kasaragod

Kasaragod, Sep 09, 2022: A 45-year-old woman, who fell onto the road from a two-wheeler, was killed after coming under the wheels of a lorry on Friday evening.

Ameena (45), wife of A K Mohammed, a resident of Ambate Moole, Pandi, Adoor is the deceased. The accident occurred near Adoor, when the husband and wife duo with their child were riding a scooter.

 

Mohammed, who was driving the vehicle, lost balance when he applied brakes suddenly in a bid to avoid a collision with an oncoming car. As a result of which, Ameena was thrown onto the road and was crushed under the wheels of a lorry that was moving beside the two-wheeler.

Mohammed and the child reportedly escaped with minor injuries. Adoor police have registered a case in this regard.
