Woman dies in tragic road mishap at Ullal

Mangaluru, Mar 26, 2022: A woman who was pillion riding a two-wheeler died while the rider sustained injuries afte a speeding car hit the two-wheeler from behind at Kapikad near Thokkottu on the NH 66 on March 26, Saturday morning. The car has fled soon after the mishap.

 

The deceased woman is Emilda D’Souza (59) of Kapikad. She was returning after a special prayer in the Thokkottu Church on account of her grand daughter’s birthday.

Emilda who was returning home by foot was given a drop by an acquaintance Flavy D’Souza who was passing that way.

The scooter rider has been admitted to the hospital.

Traffic Police have registered a case.
