Woman falls from seat as bus driver applies sudden brake; seriously injured

Mangaluru, April 11, 2023: A woman sustained serious injuries after she fell down from the  back seat of a bus  near Ladyhill on April 10, Monday.

 

The injured woman is Parvathamma (53). She was returning to Udupi after  visiting a hospital in Mangaluru along with her husband and grandson. When the bus was passing near the Ladyhill Saibaba Mandir, the driver applied sudden brakes near the humps  following which Parvathamma fell down and suffered  fracture in her waist and back.

She has been hospitalised. Traffic West Police have registered a case.
