Woman preparing for brother’s Uttara Kriya dies of electrocution

Karkala, November 15, 2024: In a tragic incident, a woman who was preparing for the Uttara Kriya rituals of her elder brother died of electrocution at Nitte Parappady on Thursday night.

The deceased is Lalitha Bondra. Her brother Raghu of Parappady had died a few days ago. Lalitha  who had come for the Uttara kriya of her brother was washing vessels. She had touched an iron pole tied to the shamiyana and was electrocuted. A tube light was fixed to the pole that reportedly led to the electric shock.
