Woman, son from Bantwal die in Shiradi Ghat accident

Bantwal, May 21, 2024: A woman and her son were killed when their car collided with a container lorry at Shiradi Ghat during the early hours of Tuesday.

 

The deceased are Shafia (48) and her son Shafiq (21) from Bondala in Bantwal taluk.  There were a total of six people in the car including children. All of them have been hospitalized.

The mishap took place about eight kms from Maranahalli. The car was on way to Mangaluru from Sakleshpur when tragedy struck.
